ABOUT STEPHANIE RABUS

Stephanie Rabus was born in St. Louis, Mo. and began singing at a very young age when the family moved to Arizona for a few years, as a way to help overcome some major insecurities she suffered from as a child due to having a cross eye, which was later corrected with surgery at 15, a heart condition, also corrected with surgery at 11 and some insecurities about her weight . Her parents discovered her talent that same year, when her dad was jamming with the Elvis impersonator who happened to live next door (her dad was his drummer), and she asked to sing.. To their surprise, she belted out "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid, and they were impressed. They bought her a karaoke machine and some cassettes, which she used every day after school to practice, entered talent shows and choir from grade school all way through high school. She then joined her first band, with her dad on drums, at age 21. Years later, she joined popular St. Louis based band Borderline, and moved to Nashville, and she still makes the drive back and forth to this day! With influences ranging from Martina McBride and Shania Twain, to Whitney Houston and Kelly Clarkson, to Pat Benatar and Evanescence, Stephanie developed a unique style, combining country, pop, soul and rock. This unique combination is showcased beautifully in her newest release "My Time Now". Stephanie has opened for many national acts such as Bryan White, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Little Texas, Lee Brice, Cassadee Pope, Tyler Farr, Lindsey Ell, and the list goes on, many of these shows with her current band Borderline!
